Jess Hodges is a psychotherapist who works collaboratively with individuals and relationships. Together, we will explore how significant relationships, experiences, strengths, and interests have shaped your sense of self and self-efficacy, ultimately influencing the way you navigate the world. Their approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and power-sensitive practice - recognising the ways in which social context, culture, and lived experiences profoundly influence an individual's wellbeing, nervous system responses, and attachment blueprint. They approach this awareness with sensitivity and respect, recognizing the connections to themes of choice, agency and consent. Jess invites clients to approach life as an unfolding experiment rather than something to be perfected. This orientation opens space for self-discovery, flexibility, and growth - allowing clients to move beyond rigid narratives toward greater freedom, choice, and possibility. Their practice is deeply informed by an awareness of intersectionality, and they are particularly passionate about working with themes of gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, and identity. Jess holds a gentle, attuned presence that supports clients to reconnect with their inner resources and to navigate life’s complexities with authenticity and care. Jess' clients say

Noelene:
"I was lucky to come across Jess at a crucial time of my life. I had just had a significant health crisis that made me question everything from mortality to personal relationships. With her gentle manner, ability to really listen, her insight and questions I felt grounded and, able to deal with what I was going through. I highly recommend Jess to anyone needing her support and skills."
K.D.:
"Jess is a fantastic therapist who is very easy to talk to. She creates an inviting and comfortable environment where conversation naturally flows. She uses a range of techniques throughout the process that maintain engagement and focus of the session. Her use of somatic awareness and breathing techniques were incredibly grounding. Jess was very supportive and protective, and I never felt judgement from her."
